The Department of Language and Communication Sciences at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has held a farewell ceremony for its 2024/2025 National Service Personnel.
The event, attended by faculty and students, marked the end of the one-year mandatory service. Participants shared meals and reflected on their experiences.

Head of Department Mrs. Victoria Faleke described the outgoing group as “wonderful and unique,” praising their commitment. “You have done wonderfully well, thank you for your service,” she said.

Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Professor Abass Kabila urged the personnel to stay resilient as they move into new career phases. “The world is full of challenges but always remember to be resilient. You may fall many times, but you must rise and take advantage of the opportunities,” he said.
The personnel expressed gratitude to faculty and staff for their mentorship. “We appreciate everything you’ve done for us. It was a wonderful learning experience full of lessons,” they said.
